I worked five years at a credit union branch on 17th Ave and I watched too many seniors walk in embarrassed after a phone scammer got them. It made me angry enough to start teaching. In one session I will get you comfortable with online banking, e-transfers, and paying a bill without driving to a branch in a snowstorm. In the second we do scams, the fake CRA calls, the grandkid in trouble text, the gift card trick, and exactly how to hang up without feeling rude. My other life is clay. I throw mugs and bowls at a shared studio in Inglewood and sell them at the night market.
